Looking for a photographer or illustrator.
All ready to go except for a front and back cover. How difficult to communicate your ideas and then not getting very far? A Chagall, images of fire, balloon, fair ground, flowers, lovers; it seemed so simple.
My efforts at illustration are limited; excuses like working with child’s poster paints won’t do this time. What next? Changing ideas to find a rainbow, someone else’s image, but is that enough? Lula inherited a rainbow as her comfort and quixotic companion; Seth’s balloon was rainbow coloured, and so many of the strands of the plot are rainbow-like, interspersed with tales in a darker hue.
Nothing happens without effort, working through the stuck bit, but the belief in a result, a good result, is the hard grind.
