Even better! These were commissioned poems. I was invited, along with famous poets such as U.A Fanthorpe, Gillian Clarke, Charles Causeley, to respond to a range of well-known paintings. I entered four and these two were chosen. Money changed hands too!

And I did use images to stimulate a poetic response from my pupils with success. Our brains are hardwired to see before we put what we think into words.
